TCS NEXUS S.L. manufactures custom cosmetic-grade peptides from its Valencia, Spain facility. From single-residue modifications to novel lipopeptide sequences, we deliver research-grade and cGMP cosmetic-grade material to formulators and brands across Europe. All synthesis uses solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) with Fmoc chemistry. Every batch is verified by HPLC and ESI-MS before dispatch.

Synthesis Capabilities
Our Fmoc SPPS platform handles chain lengths from dipeptides up to 50 amino acids. We work with all 20 standard L-amino acids as well as a broad range of non-proteinogenic residues — D-amino acids, beta-amino acids, Aib, norvaline, and others on request. N-terminal lipid conjugation (palmitoyl, myristoyl, stearoyl), C-terminal amidation, and N-terminal acetylation are routinely applied to replicate the structural profile of established cosmetic actives such as Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 or Acetyl Hexapeptide-3.
Sequence Types We Synthesise
- Linear peptides (2–50 amino acids, any standard or non-standard AA)
- Cyclic peptides (head-to-tail, disulfide-bridged)
- Lipopeptides: Palmitoyl (C16), Myristoyl (C14), Stearoyl (C18) N-terminal conjugation
- Biotinylated peptides (Biotin-Gly spacer)
- Acetylated and amidated termini (standard for cosmetic actives)
- Phosphorylated, PEGylated, and fluorescently labelled peptides (for R&D applications)
Salt Forms Available
- Trifluoroacetate (TFA)
- Acetate (HOAc)
- Hydrochloride (HCl)
TFA-free versions (acetate or HCl counterion exchange) are available on request — recommended for cosmetic formulations where TFA-free status is cited in product claims or regulatory documentation.
Quality & Documentation
Every custom batch ships with a full Certificate of Analysis (CoA). For cosmetic-grade and cGMP tiers the CoA includes: HPLC purity chromatogram, ESI-MS identity confirmation, amino acid analysis (AAA) for sequences above 10 residues, residual solvent testing (ICH Q3C), water content by Karl Fischer titration, and microbiological limits testing. Documentation is provided in English and Spanish and is structured to support inclusion in EU Responsible Person dossiers under Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
- HPLC: C18 reverse-phase column, gradient method, UV detection at 214 nm
- Mass spectrometry: ESI-MS, positive ion mode, [M+H]⁺ and [M+2H]²⁺ ion verification
- Amino acid analysis (AAA): acid hydrolysis followed by HPLC-UV quantification (sequences ≥10 amino acids)
- Residual TFA: ion chromatography — critical for cosmetic-grade approval and EU claims documentation
- Cosmetic grade CoA includes: identity, purity, peptide content (% w/w), appearance, pH (1% aqueous solution), and heavy metals (ICP-MS)
Why Source Custom Peptides from Spain?
EU Stock, EU Delivery
Finished material ships from Valencia within 5–7 business days for most scales (research and formulation development). There are no customs clearance delays, no 4–6 week Asia import lead times, and no cold-chain complications at EU borders. EU-based manufacturing provides full traceability under EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 — a CoA issued by a European facility is significantly easier to include in your EU Responsible Person dossier than documentation translated from a non-EU supplier. For brands selling into the EU market, this is a practical compliance advantage, not a marketing point.
TFA-Free Cosmetic Grade as Standard
Trifluoroacetate (TFA) is a standard SPPS counterion that the majority of suppliers retain in the final product. At concentrations typical in cosmetic formulations (0.1–5% w/w peptide active), residual TFA does not present a safety concern under current EU assessment guidance — but some EU brands and private-label manufacturers prefer TFA-free material when writing on-pack claims or consumer-facing product descriptions. We offer acetate or hydrochloride counterion exchange at no additional lead time for quantities above 5 g. For orders below 5 g, TFA-free exchange adds approximately 3 business days.
